BMD 300v tool setters (tool presetters)
BMD 300v series tool setters are designed especially for setting rotary tools of machine tools.
This series contains four different versions of tool setters. Development, production, assembly and service of these compact instruments of small outside dimensions but large parameters is carried out in Teplice, Czech Republic, an EU member state since 2004. Only proven components of world manufacturers have been selected for the tool setters.
Steel structure of the mechanical part of the tool setter brings confidence strengthen by each, professionally elaborated detail of the instrument.
The instrument base is made from a solid, closed steel profile, with linear straight-line guides and bearings of X coordinate located on its upper, ground surface. The bearings are connected with the base for a vertical travel pillar in Z coordinate. This travel is executed with the same type of bearings.
Travels in X and Z coordinates are measured with linear optoelectronic sensors.
Fast movement brakes are made in the form of smooth, ground cylindrical bars, to which ball bearings fasten in radial direction during breaking with necessary prepress. With fine positioning these bearings screw along the ground bars.
Tool setter covers are made from shaped steel-sheet plates, powder coated. Such a finish is highly resistance to a heavy-duty workshop environment, in which the tool setters are used. The covers thus confirms the character of a common machinery product of the top quality.
A camera with a very clear, sharp image and a wide range of automatically assigned evaluation methods is available for the tool edge evaluation. An alternative to the camera is an edge projector with a screen lighted with a halogen bulb.
