Test bar for a selected basic cone of the instrument

A standard part of each instrument is a test bar. The bar is fitted with an edge with evaluation parameters of X coordinate (tool diameter) and Z (tool length). A calibration laboratory checks these coordinates.

Calibrated test bar has two functions:

• Ensuring very accurate setting of the coordinate beginning, based on real dimensions situated to the tool setting area.
• Representing a test bar – primary standard, ensuring connection to national standards when assuring ISO standard functions.
