Maximal tool length

This parameter indicates maximal possible length of a tool, which can be inserted directly to the spindle head and measured. The tool length is marked with Z coordinate. The coordinate beginning always corresponds with a position of nominal diameter of a corresponding spindle head cone. Keep in mind that the reductions used shorten the effective maximal length of the tool.
