Test bars

The bar is fitted with an edge with evaluation parameters of X and Z coordinates, and determines the beginning of reduction coordinates. A calibration protocol is issued for X and Z parameters, which may be checked by a calibration laboratory regularly.

Calibrated test bar has two functions:

• Ensuring very accurate setting of the coordinate beginning, based on real dimensions situated to the tool setting area.
• Representing a test bar – primary standard, ensuring connection to national standards when assuring ISO standard functions.
